National Trust - Poster Campaign
In my MA Communication Design course, I took up a brief set by D&AD for the National Trust, which was to re-establish their brand and take the image of the National Trust away from its currently perceived image and to re-establish mankind’s relationship with nature. This brief I felt was perfect to experiment my idea of Illusion and Semiotics on. The National Trust had given us a set border to work within but at the same time, enough freedom to maintain our originality. The Idea behind these posters is that the paper represents our lives now... plain, dull and unwritten. And that if we must re-kindle our bond with nature then we must tear through this dull monotony to see the beauty that is beyond.
